Lent, Day 24: Walk.

Today's reading: Mark 6:45-56

you walked
across the waves
let them wash over your feet
because your friends were alone
and facing rough seas

you walked
among the sick
hopeful on their mats
because everywhere you went
they came
and you let them touch you and

they walked

you walk
toward us
and
you walk
among us
bringing peace
bringing healing, so

we can walk
into a world
of fear and of pain
and of hope
because you have called us
to join you
there
