Today (Sept. 6) I learned...
... that I am not too proud to be thrilled beyond belief to see a b&w mermaid in a bright green circle (thankyouthankyouthankyou to whoever decided Midland, Texas needed a Starbucks).
... that even the most seemingly-uninhabitable landscape (and residence) may be beautiful (and home) to someone.
And today (Sept. 7) I learned...
... that right where it looks like nothing could possibly grow, much less flourish, the far southern bit of New Mexico has beautiful lush vineyards and groves of pecan and walnut trees.
... and that sometimes interesting is enough to make you think beautiful. Works for cacti. (Here's hoping it might work for people, too. **raising hand**)
